British Airways refits Boeing 777-200s
British Airways used its first refitted Boeing 777-200 on a flight from London to Newark at the weekend. The aircraft is the first of 18 to be fitted within BA’s new First, World Traveller and World Traveller Plus cabins, as well as a new in-flight entertainment system.
Interiors match the airline’s 777-300ERs with new seats and wider screens and are part of its multi-million pound upgrade to aircraft, lounges and technology.
“We have had fantastic customer reaction to our new fleet of Boeing 777-300ERs, which originally showcased our new cabins, and we know those who travel on these 18 aircraft will be equally impressed with our investment,” said Frank van der Post, managing director, brands and customer at British Airways.
