Depa wins $3.2m UK hotel contract

Depa, one of the world’s leading interior contracting companies, has secured a GBP2 million ($3.23 million) furniture, fixtures & equipment (FF&E) contract to fit out an entire luxury hotel project in the UK.
Depa was appointed by The Skelwith Group, a UK-based residential, commercial and leisure property development company, for furnishing the Raithwaite Hall Country Retreat in Yorkshire, which is set for completion in October. More >

Steigenberger Hotels could soon look into opening a number of venues in the UK, which would create many new hotel jobs.
The German hotel group plans to expand its portfolio by up to 15 hotels a year, travelweekly.co.uk reports.
It currently owns 80 hotels, with the majority located in Germany, but some are in Austria and Switzerland. More >
