Travel chief hits out over airports

The Government’s decision to rule out airport expansion in south-east England is “unacceptable”, a travel chief has said.

Marriott’s Residence Inn brand to launch in UK

Marriott International has revealed that it will open a Residence Inn property in Edinburgh later this year. The 107 room hotel will open under a management deal with Gladedale Venturs and it expected to open in October. It will be the first Residence Inn hotel to open in the UK and second in Europe after the Munich property. More >

Accor adds three Mercure hotels in the UK
